Rendezvous Instructions

A rendezvous is a meeting at a prearranged time and place, or a popular gathering place. Phoenix Rising has collected popular locations in the French Quarter to assist you in planning your own Rendezvous — a gathering for your website, your ship, a favorite character or theory, for art, for any type of group!

Instructions

First, choose a fandom organization, a 'ship, a craft, anything that might be a common interest for your Rendezvous. Then, review our location information below to choose a location, date and time. You may need to use the information provided to contact the location regarding suitable ages; some French Quarter locations do require guests to be at least 21 years old during certain hours. Finally, follow the e-mail instructions below to let us know about your Rendezvous. We'll list your Rendezvous on our website, and provide you with a forwarding e-mail address so people can contact you.

E-mail instructions:

  1. Send us an e-mail with the following information:
    Your name or alias, as you want it listed on our website;
    Your e-mail address at which you want to receive e-mail forwards;
    The purpose, group or focus of your Rendezvous;
    Location;
    Date;
    Time; and
    Any restrictions on attendance, such as age.

  2. We'll create a forwarding e-mail address so that others with the same interest can contact you.

  3. Finally, we'll add this information to your listing here.

The following list of locations details information about locations in the French Quarter near to the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel, and may be of help to you in planning your Rendezvous. Phoenix Rising provides this list for informational purposes only, and makes no guarantees or recommendations regarding any of the locations.     In operation by the same family since 1840, Antoine's serves French- and Creole-inspired favorites, and boasts an extensive wine cellar and historical memorabilia from famous personages such as General Patton, Judy Garland, and Pope John Paul II.

    Arnaud's is considered one of the New Orleans dining experiences, and the service is exceptional. This elegant restaurant's specialties are the French 75 and Shrimp Arnaud, and the Mardi Gras Museum is open to the public for free during the restaurant's operating hours.
