FictionAlley
FictionAlley was founded in the summer of 2001 by a dozen Harry Potter fans mostly fanfiction writers and artists as an archive for Harry Potter fanfiction. The site hosts any story with reasonably good grammar and spelling as long as it does not merit an adults-only rating. Since 2001, the site has grown to include over ten thousand stories and chapters by thousands of writers, as well as thousands of fan-generated artworks, hundreds of fan-films, and now, a beta project of audio recordings of fanfiction. In May of 2006, FictionAlley launched SpellCast, a podcast by, for and about Harry Potter fans and the things they make, do, create, learn and discuss.

The Shrieking Shack
The Shrieking Shack is three years old and is coming up on its fourth year. It was founded in December of 2002 and started off very small with a geocities site. On February 14th, 2003 Valentine's Day the Shack started a Proboards Forum, and just recently, the Shack switched to a new forum, which you can find at http://www.s-shack.org/forums/. In March of 2003, the Shack decided to purchase its own domain and ever since then has provided a wealth of Harry Potter news, discussion, artwork, challenges and more.

The Leaky Cauldron
The Leaky Cauldron, now also available at http://www.leakynews.com/, is an all-purpose site for the Harry Potter enthusiast. It started in 2000 as a badly designed one-page roll of news; it has now turned into a destination for fan entertainment and discussion, and has become the Harry Potter site of record, hosting the oldest and most comprehensive Potter news archive on the Web.
